INDOMITABLE - Film Teaser
Based on the book "The Indomitable Maria Magdalena" by John Messer, this teaser introduces the powerful story of Maria Magdalena — a mother forced to make impossible choices in order to survive. After crossing into the United States with her children, Maria finds herself caught between desperation and hope. What begins as a search for opportunity quickly becomes a battle against exploitation, control, abuse, poverty, and fear. With no safety net and no easy way back, Maria must decide how far she is willing to go to protect her children and build a better life. At the heart of the story is a woman who is not perfect, but indomitable. Maria carries grief, shame, and regret, yet she refuses to be destroyed by them. Her journey is not simply about crossing a border — it is about crossing through fear, judgment, betrayal, and hardship while holding onto faith, dignity, and the fierce love of a mother. INDOMITABLE is a dramatic story of survival, sacrifice, motherhood, faith, and the unbreakable will to keep moving forward when going back is no longer an option. The story is also powerful in the way it shows the cycle of dependency and control. Juan initially appears to be Maria’s rescuer, but the story gradually reveals how rescue can become another form of captivity. His financial help, jealousy, possessiveness, and violence create one of the film's strongest dramatic tensions. Maria’s conflict is not merely whether she can survive poverty, but whether she can survive the people who use her vulnerability to control her. Minor Strut Music Video
In 2024, we were working with Den Studios to see what could be built in their facilities. As we helped set up the video wall in the studio, it was decided to shoot a music video to test the concept. The Southern California band, Minor Strut, did us the honor of making an appearance while we did our testing. We went through a few iterations, both video wall content and shooting style. This is one of the iterations that we considered.

BTS of "Seasons" shoot
On a hot summer day, a group of young adults discuss what they're doing with the life. In reality, it wasn't a hot day. It was a bit cold and it was raining, the only day that month that it rained. Other than that, it was a smooth shoot and everyone had a blast.
